Members may report concerns by contacting the Good Things\nMail Club by email or through the online reporting form. When possible, include\ncopies or photos of the correspondence.<\/o:p><\/p>

Reports will be handled as confidentially as reasonably\npossible. Knowingly false or malicious reports may themselves violate the\nCommunity Agreement.<\/o:p><\/p>

Review Process<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

Each report will be reviewed fairly. The Club Manager may\nrequest additional information from those involved before determining an\nappropriate response.<\/o:p><\/p>

Progressive Accountability<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

Depending on the severity and frequency of the conduct,\nresponses may include:<\/o:p><\/p>

    \n
  1. Reminder<\/b>\n \u2013 A friendly reminder of the Community Agreement.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  2. Written\n Warning<\/b> \u2013 A formal notice describing the concern and expectations\n moving forward.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  3. Probation<\/b>\n \u2013 Temporary restrictions on participation or new pen pal assignments.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  4. Suspension<\/b>\n \u2013 Temporary removal from participation.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  5. Membership\n Removal<\/b> \u2013 Permanent removal from the Good Things Mail Club.<\/o:p><\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Conduct That May Result in Immediate Removal<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    The following behaviors may result in immediate removal\nwithout prior warning:<\/o:p><\/p>

      \n
    • Threats\n of violence or encouraging violence.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Harassment,\n stalking, or intimidation.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Hate\n speech or targeted discrimination.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Sharing\n another member’s personal information without permission.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Fraud,\n scams, or attempts to deceive members for personal gain.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Sending\n unsolicited sexually explicit or illegal material.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Impersonating\n another person or the Good Things Mail Club.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Using\n the community to recruit others into illegal activity or organizations\n that promote violence or hatred.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Continuing\n to contact a member after they have asked that communication stop.<\/o:p><\/li>\n<\/ul>

      Club Discretion<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

      The Good Things Mail Club reserves the right to remove any\nmember whose conduct, whether inside or outside club correspondence,\ndemonstrates a pattern of behavior that substantially undermines the safety,\ntrust, or mission of the community.<\/o:p><\/p>

      Appeals<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

      Members who are suspended or removed may submit a written\nappeal within 30 days. Appeals will be reviewed by the Club Manager, whose\ndecision is final.<\/o:p><\/p>
