Purpose<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

The Good Things Mail Club exists to encourage meaningful\nhuman connection through handwritten correspondence. Membership is intended for\nindividuals who wish to participate in a respectful, welcoming, and supportive\ncommunity.<\/o:p><\/p>

Age Requirement<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

Membership is limited to individuals who are 18 years of\nage or older<\/b>.<\/o:p><\/p>

Membership<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

By joining the Good Things Mail Club, members agree to:<\/o:p><\/p>

    \n
  • Abide\n by the Community Agreement and Community Standards & Accountability\n Policy.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  • Provide\n accurate and current contact information.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  • Notify\n the Club promptly of any change in mailing address or contact information.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
  • Use\n fellow members’ personal information only for purposes directly related to\n participation in the Good Things Mail Club.<\/o:p><\/li>\n<\/ul>

    Membership Fees<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    Membership is billed on a recurring basis unless canceled.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Fees help cover the costs of printing, materials, postage,\nadministration, and operation of the Good Things Mail Club.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Cancellations<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    Members may cancel their membership at any time.\nCancellation will stop future recurring charges but does not automatically\nrefund payments already processed or shipments already prepared.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Refunds<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    Membership fees are generally non-refundable once a monthly\nmailing has been prepared or shipped. Refund requests for exceptional\ncircumstances may be considered at the discretion of the Club Manager.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Pen Pal Matching<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    The Good Things Mail Club strives to make thoughtful matches\nbut cannot guarantee compatibility, friendships, or any particular outcome.<\/o:p><\/p>

    The Club may reassign pen pal matches when necessary to\nsupport member safety, participation, or the overall health of the community.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Correspondence<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    Members are encouraged to communicate respectfully and in\naccordance with the Community Agreement.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Members are responsible for the content of the\ncorrespondence they send.<\/o:p><\/p>

    The Good Things Mail Club does not routinely review private\ncorrespondence but may review letters voluntarily submitted as part of a\nreported concern.<\/o:p><\/p>

    Privacy<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

    Participation requires sharing personal information with\nyour assigned pen pal(s).<\/o:p><\/p>

    • Standard\n Membership:<\/b> Your first name<\/b> and mailing address<\/b> will be\n shared only with your assigned pen pal(s) for the purpose of exchanging\n correspondence.<\/o:p><\/li>\n
    • Private\n Membership:<\/b> Your first name only<\/b> will be shared with your\n assigned pen pal(s). All correspondence will be routed through the Good\n Things Mail Club, and your mailing address will not be disclosed.<\/o:p><\/li>\n<\/ul>

      Members agree not to share another member’s personal\ninformation, letters, or correspondence without that person’s permission or use\nthat information for purposes unrelated to participation in the Good Things\nMail Club.<\/o:p><\/p>

      Membership Status<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

      Membership is a privilege, not a right.<\/o:p><\/p>

      The Good Things Mail Club reserves the right to suspend or\nterminate membership for violations of the Community Agreement, Community\nStandards & Accountability Policy, or these Terms of Membership.<\/o:p><\/p>

      The Good Things Mail Club also reserves the right to refuse\nor discontinue membership when doing so is necessary to protect the safety,\ntrust, or mission of the community.<\/o:p><\/p>

      Changes to Membership Terms<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>

      These Terms of Membership may be updated from time to time.\nMembers will be notified of material changes before they take effect. Continued\nparticipation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated\nTerms.<\/o:p><\/p>
