Standard Membership

Your first name and mailing address will be shared only with your assigned pen pal(s) for the purpose of exchanging correspondence.

Private Membership

Only your first name will be shared with your assigned pen pal(s). Your mailing address will remain confidential, and correspondence will be forwarded through the Good Things Mail Club.

Members agree to use another member’s personal information only for participation in the Good Things Mail Club.

Payment Information

Payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers, such as Stripe.

The Good Things Mail Club does not store your full credit or debit card information.

Confidentiality of Correspondence

Letters exchanged between members are private.

The Good Things Mail Club does not routinely read, monitor, or review member correspondence.

Correspondence may be voluntarily submitted by a member as part of a report involving an alleged violation of the Community Agreement or Community Standards & Accountability Policy.

Program Evaluation

The Good Things Mail Club may invite members to participate in voluntary surveys or standardized questionnaires to help evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the program. These may include measures of well-being, social connection, life satisfaction, or other topics related to the Club’s mission.

Participation in these surveys is entirely voluntary. Choosing not to participate will not affect your membership or your ability to participate in the Good Things Mail Club.

Survey responses may be analyzed individually or in combination with other responses to better understand the impact of the program. When results are shared publicly, they will be presented in aggregate or de-identified form so that individual members cannot reasonably be identified, unless a member has provided separate written permission.

The Good Things Mail Club is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical, psychological, or mental health diagnosis or treatment. Any questionnaires used are intended solely for program evaluation, quality improvement, and educational purposes.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
