Effective Date: July 1st 2026
Participation in the Good Things Mail Club requires the
exchange of limited personal information so members can correspond through
handwritten mail.
By joining the Good Things Mail Club, I acknowledge and
agree to the following:
Standard Membership
I understand that my first name and mailing
address will be shared only with my assigned pen pal(s) for the sole
purpose of exchanging correspondence through the Good Things Mail Club.
Private Membership
If I enroll in a Private Membership, I understand
that only my first name will be shared with my assigned pen pal(s). My
mailing address will remain confidential, and the Good Things Mail Club will
forward correspondence on my behalf.
Use of Contact Information
I agree to use another member’s contact information only for
participation in the Good Things Mail Club.
I will not:
- Share
another member’s personal information without their permission.
- Use
another member’s contact information for advertising, marketing,
fundraising, or solicitation.
- Use
another member’s information for harassment, intimidation, or any unlawful
purpose.
- Continue
contacting a member after they have clearly requested that communication
stop.
Privacy
I understand that the Good Things Mail Club takes reasonable
measures to protect my personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
While the Club carefully manages member information, it cannot guarantee the
actions of individual members once information has been shared as part of
participation.
Revoking Consent
I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time by
canceling my membership or changing my membership type. I understand that
information already shared with my current pen pal(s) cannot be retrieved or
erased.
Acknowledgment
By joining the Good Things Mail Club, I acknowledge that I
have read and understand this Consent to Share Contact Information, and I
voluntarily consent to the sharing of my information as described above.
