Effective Date: July 18, 2026
This policy applies to all Good Things Mail Club membership
plans and is incorporated into the Good Things Mail Club Terms of Membership.
1. Recurring Membership
Good Things Mail Club memberships are billed monthly at the
price displayed during checkout. Your selected payment method will be charged
automatically each month until you cancel.
There is no minimum membership period unless a particular
offer clearly states otherwise.
2. How to Cancel
You may cancel your membership at any time by:
- Using
the secure Stripe Customer Portal link provided in your membership or
billing emails; or
- Emailing
support@goodthingsmail.com and requesting cancellation.
To prevent your next recurring charge, cancel before your
next scheduled billing date.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the
end of your current paid billing period. You may continue receiving membership
benefits through that date, and you will not be charged again.
When you cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal, Stripe
will display or email confirmation of the cancellation. When you submit a
cancellation request by email, Good Things Mail Club will send confirmation
after processing it.
3. Refund Eligibility
Membership fees are generally nonrefundable once the
member’s monthly mailing has been prepared or shipped.
Before preparation begins, refund requests may be considered
based on the circumstances and any work already completed. Refunds are not
guaranteed except when required by law.
Canceling your membership stops future recurring charges but
does not automatically refund a payment already processed or a mailing already
prepared.
4. Nonrefundable Circumstances
We generally do not issue refunds or prorated credits for:
- Unused
time remaining in a billing period
- Canceling
after a monthly mailing has been prepared or shipped
- Changing
your mind after preparation has begun
- Failing
to participate in mail exchanges
- Delayed
or missing correspondence from another member
- Postal
delays outside our control
- Materials
mailed to an incorrect or outdated address provided by the member
- Dissatisfaction
with another member’s correspondence, unless it violates our Community
Standards
5. Refund Exceptions
Good Things Mail Club may provide a full or partial refund
when:
- You
were charged more than once because of a billing error
- You
were charged after properly canceling your membership
- We
cannot provide the membership you purchased
- A
refund is required by law
- Exceptional
circumstances justify a refund in the reasonable judgment of the Club
Manager
To request a refund, email support@goodthingsmail.com
within 14 days of the charge. Include your name, membership email address,
payment date, and reason for the request.
Submitting a refund request does not automatically cancel
your membership. If you also want to stop future charges, cancel through the
Stripe Customer Portal or clearly request cancellation in your email.
6. Damaged, Incomplete or Missing Materials
If materials supplied directly by Good Things Mail Club
arrive damaged, defective, incomplete, or do not arrive, contact support@goodthingsmail.com
within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
Please provide:
- Your
name and membership email address
- A
description of the problem
- A
photograph of damaged materials, when applicable
Depending on the circumstances, we may provide replacement
materials, an account credit, or a partial or full refund.
Materials mailed to an incorrect or outdated address
supplied by the member ordinarily will not qualify for a free replacement or
refund.
7. Returns
You do not need to return ordinary membership materials
unless we specifically request them. We cannot accept returns of materials that
have been personalized, written on, used, or mailed.
8. Member-to-Member Correspondence
Good Things Mail Club cannot guarantee that every matched
member will participate consistently or that correspondence will arrive by a
particular date.
If a match repeatedly fails to participate, contact us. We
may provide a new match or another reasonable solution. Another member’s
failure to correspond does not automatically qualify the subscriber for a
refund.
9. Suspension or Termination
A membership suspended or terminated for violating the Terms
of Membership, Community Agreement, or Community Standards and Accountability
Policy may be ineligible for a refund, except where required by law.
10. Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment
method through Stripe. The time required for the refund to appear depends on
Stripe and the member’s financial institution.
